Job description

Are you someone who genuinely enjoys taking care of clients and making sure every detail gets handled?
Do you have experience in wealth management or financial services and understand that when you're working with people's money, accuracy, follow-through, and trust matter?
Would you rather be an essential part of a small, successful team than one person inside a large financial institution?
This could be a great next move.
Turning the Corner is conducting a confidential search for an established, independent wealth management firm in Boulder. We're looking for a Client Service Manager who will become a trusted point of contact for clients and an integral partner to the firm's advisors.
The culture is professional but relaxed - what the partners describe as "Boulder polish." They take their responsibility to clients extremely seriously without the hierarchy and formality of a large financial institution.
What You'll Do
You'll play a central role in both the client experience and day-to-day operations of the firm, including:
  • Serving as a primary in-office contact for clients by phone, email, and in person
  • Managing new account opening and client onboarding
  • Processing ACH/wires, deposits, contributions, distributions, journals, and account transfers
  • Preparing and tracking DocuSign packages and client documentation
  • Maintaining accurate client records and financial planning data
  • Supporting advisory billing, cash reporting, and account reconciliation
  • Preparing trade orders based on advisor-approved instructions and supporting investment implementation
  • Assisting with compliance, regulatory recordkeeping, and general office operations

You'll have real ownership here. Once you're trained, the partners want someone they can trust to keep things moving independently, provide exceptional client service, and follow requests all the way through completion.
What You'll Bring
  • Experience in wealth management, financial services operations, client service, or equivalent demonstrated experience
  • Working knowledge of investments, account types, and financial terminology
  • Experience handling financial transactions, records, and sensitive client information
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
  • Excellent communication and client-service skills
  • Strong Excel and Word skills and experience with DocuSign
  • Comfort learning new technology and working independently
  • Exceptional discretion, judgment, and integrity

Experience with Charles Schwab Advisor Services or another custodial platform is highly desirable. Experience within an RIA, wealth management firm, broker-dealer, trust company, or similar financial-services environment is preferred. A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred but not required.
Why Join?
This is an opportunity to become a key part of a small, successful firm where you'll work directly with the partners, know the clients, and see the impact of your work.
It's a particularly compelling opportunity for someone who enjoys the wealth management industry but would prefer a smaller, independent, client-centered environment where great work is noticed and trusted.
Compensation & Benefits
  • $80,000 - $95,000 base salary
  • Quarterly bonus opportunity
  • 401(k) match and profit sharing
  • 15 days PTO
  • Paid market/federal holidays
  • Professional development support

This is an on-site position in Boulder, Monday through Friday, and work outside normal business hours is not expected.
If you're looking for a wealth management client service role where your judgment is trusted, your work matters, and exceptional client service is truly valued, we'd love to hear from you.
