Job Description
Job Summary:
Develop, support, and maintain documentation and configuration control. Support the quality assurance group and its ISO 9001/AS9100 Quality Management System (QMS). This role will also process RMA's including logging, inspecting, and administering customer RMA process, including relevant documentation. This position is onsite, with the option to work at our Montgomeryville, Pennsylvania or Princeton, New Jersey office.
Detailed Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: (Other duties may be assigned)
• Generate, control and release documentation
• Administer the Engineering Change Notice (ECN) System
• Work with staff across Quality, Engineering, Operations, and other departments to ensure smooth release of ECN's,
• Evaluate ECN submissions for accuracy and required content in accordance with ECN process documentation
• Determine appropriate approval path, and serve as control to prevent undesired or unauthorized changes
• Coordinate with Engineering department to procure and generate required documentation
• Update ECN submissions with appropriate part number, BOM, and Router information
• Generate, review, and distribute ECN status and impact reports.
• Communicate effectively with all levels and departments of the company
• Return Material Authorization (RMA) processing: Log, inspect, and administer the customer RMA process, including relevant documentation
• Participate in the review of proposed changes for risk and impact to product quality, reliability and possible requalification requirements
• Actively support maintenance and improvement of the QMS system and propose updates to process
• Support and maintain Quality Manufacturing Records
• Support incoming inspection as needed including the generation of documentation, material logs, and inspections of purchased and manufactured parts to drawing specifications and other noted requirements using microscopes, tool scopes, calipers, depth gauges
Requirements:
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following qualifications and competencies:
• Attention to detail
• Experience with ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality management system.
• Computer proficiency using Microsoft Word and Excel
• Experience with MRP systems, experience with Deltek Costpoint system preferred
• Experience with manufacturing configuration control, electronic or semiconductor manufacturing preferred
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills
• Experience with cross-functional teams
• Displays exemplary ethics and business conduct and performs work cognizant of safe work practices
Education and/or Experience:
• Bachelor's & 3 years of experience or GED & 7 years in manufacturing configuration control or equivalent
Citizenship:
• Due to the type of work at the facility and certain access restrictions, successful applicants must be a U.S. Citizen.
