Job description

Openwork Company is seeking a Marine Documentation Clerk / Receptionist to join a busy office in the Houston area. This position is primarily focused on preparing and maintaining marine documentation while also assisting with front desk and receptionist duties. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, professional, and comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced office environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and maintain marine service reports, certificates, and documentation
  • Review paperwork for accuracy and maintain organized records
  • Answer and route incoming calls using a multi-line phone system
  • Greet visitors, customers, and vendors professionally
  • Assist with filing, data entry, correspondence, and general office support
  • Process outgoing mail and shipments (FedEx, UPS, DHL)
  • Support the marine department with quotes, job folders, and administrative tasks
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 12 years of administrative, receptionist, or clerical experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Typing speed of 4050 WPM preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced office environment
