Job description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing direct patient care and assisting healthcare professionals in a variety of clinical and administrative tasks. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the well-being of patients and gain valuable experience in the medical field.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform patient intake procedures, including measuring vital signs, documenting medical history, and verifying medication lists.
  • Assist healthcare professionals with examinations, procedures, and treatments.
  • Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean, stocked, and organized.
  • Provide patient education on treatment plans, medications, and preventive measures.
  • Schedule appointments, manage patient records, and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Assist with medical administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing patient records.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred.
  • X-Ray certification is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional patient service.

The pay range for this role is:
22 - 24 USD per hour (LAOSS - Valencia)
