About the CT Technologist Position:
  • Perform diagnostic CT scans on patients, ensuring the highest quality imaging.
  • Operate and maintain CT equipment, adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to acquire relevant patient information and ensure accurate scan procedures.
  • Position and prepare patients for scans, providing clear instructions and maintaining their comfort throughout the process.
  • Evaluate scan results for quality and clarity, reporting any abnormalities to the appropriate medical personnel.
  • Maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation of procedures.
  • Stay updated on advancements in CT technology and participate in continuous education to enhance skills.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to ensure effective communication and patient care.
  • Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines in the CT imaging process.
CT Technologist Qualifications:
  • ARRT Certification
  • An Associate's Degree in Radiography
  • New Jersey DEP License
  • Previous experience in CT Technology preferred
