Job description

PURPOSE  

Primary responsibilities of the Scanner Operator are to perform daily scanning production output and document preparation for the Conversion Assistance Services department  (CAS). The scanner operator must maintain integrity of all scanned documents to ensure the quality and accuracy of each job performed.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform daily ImageTrac production output and document preparation for the Conversion Assistance Services (CAS)
  • Maintain integrity of scanned documents to ensure the quality & accuracy of each job performed.
  • Possesses full knowledge of procedures for ImageTrac assembly and operation for both internal & external operations
  • Perform daily preventative maintenance on scanning equipment.
  • Maintain the skills to support customer installation, if required, to include assisting in product as well as ensures proper management and control of all company assets (tools, documentation, software, intellectual property, etc.
  • Assembly, testing, training and equipment operation. Must be able to travel on short notice to perform scanning functions at customer sites for various time periods
  • Maintains current and thorough knowledge of all Image Trac hardware and software functionality
  • Strives to ensure that the highest possible level of customer satisfaction is maintained at all times.
  • Serves as backup to QA process, when required    

PREFERRED SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year experience in a production environment or equivalent
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and Windows operating systems
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to assemble and disassemble an ImageTrac scanner;
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Realistic scheduling and observance of deadlines
  • Ability to prioritize and work independently
