This confidential contract opportunity is ideal for an experienced product leader who is passionate about simplifying data-intensive workflows and developing intelligent document-processing solutions.

The Senior Product Manager will lead the strategy, execution, and delivery of document-processing capabilities supporting both business-to-business and consumer-facing tax products. This position will oversee the complete product lifecycle, from defining the product vision and roadmap through launch, measurement, and continued optimization.

The selected candidate will partner closely with engineering, product design, artificial intelligence, data, compliance, legal, and business teams to develop secure and scalable solutions that improve how complex tax and financial documents are imported, interpreted, and transformed into actionable information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and communicate a clear product vision, strategy, roadmap, and measurable outcomes for the Document Intelligence Platform.
  • Lead the strategy and delivery of document-import, data-ingestion, optical character recognition, artificial intelligence, and financial-data exchange capabilities.
  • Manage the complete product lifecycle, from customer research and opportunity identification through development, launch, measurement, and optimization.
  • Champion a customer- and partner-focused approach to building intuitive, intelligent, secure, and compliant document-processing solutions.
  • Develop solutions that support both consumer tax experiences and professional tax-preparation workflows.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce manual data entry, improve document accuracy, increase automation, and simplify data-heavy processes.
  • Lead product ideation, experimentation, validation, and delivery of next-generation document workflows.
  • Own and continuously refine the platform roadmap while balancing innovation, reliability, scalability, compliance, and business priorities.
  • Use customer feedback, market research, product analytics, and performance data to guide product decisions.
  • Monitor developments in artificial intelligence, machine learning, optical character recognition, document classification, and data-exchange standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering, UX/UI design, AI/ML, data, compliance, and other product teams to deliver high-performing end-to-end solutions.
  • Partner with legal, data privacy, security, and regulatory teams to ensure compliance with applicable standards and responsible artificial intelligence practices.
  • Translate customer needs and business objectives into clear product requirements, user stories, priorities, and measurable outcomes.
  • Communicate product priorities, decisions, progress, risks, and business impact to executives and key stakeholders.
  • Guide cross-functional teams through product discovery, development, testing, launch, and post-launch optimization.
  • Serve as a subject-matter leader in intelligent document processing and help shape how tax data is captured, understood, and used across B2B and B2C products.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Five to seven years of product management experience within software, financial technology, tax, financial services, or a related industry.
  • Demonstrated experience managing digital products through the full product lifecycle.
  • Experience developing or managing document-processing, data-ingestion, financial-data, or automation solutions.
  • Strong understanding of customer research, product strategy, roadmap development, and data-informed decision-making.
  • Experience working with technical, business, legal, regulatory, and compliance teams.
  • Experience partnering with engineers and designers within an agile product-development environment.
