Job description

PWS Title: Document Analyst

Clearance Type: Top Secret

Contingent upon award*

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and sustain up-to-date technical diagrams, including network topology maps, logical/physical configurations, IP address allocations, and device interconnections using Visio or approved tools.
  • Draft and update Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), and supporting configuration documentation for planned network changes or modernization efforts. Ensure these documents align with DISA formatting standards and PWS requirements.
  • Track revisions of all network documentation, SOPs, and technical diagrams using a centralized document management system. Apply version control practices to maintain traceability and support configuration audits.
  • Review technical documents and diagrams for accuracy, completeness, and clarity before submission to the COR or incorporation into official deliverables. Ensure all outputs meet government-mandated requirements for format, classification markings, and content.
  • Collaborate with Network Engineers and the Site Lead to ensure documentation accurately reflects current configurations and proposed changes. Coordinate updates after AMC events or system reconfigurations.
  • Author and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and recurring reports (e.g., Monthly Status Reports, AMC summaries, inventory logs) to ensure consistent operational processes and compliance with contract reporting obligations.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in document control, technical editing, or administrative support in IT environments.
  • Proficient in developing and maintaining Visio diagrams, SOPs, BRDs, and configuration baselines.
  • Strong understanding of version control, technical writing standards, and federal documentation requirements.
  • Experience using collaboration tools (e.g., SharePoint, Teams) for document management.
  • Excellent organizational and proofreading skills; ability to manage multiple concurrent document updates.
