TheDocument WorkflowEngineer(DWE)will join Proctor Loan Protector's Client TechnologyTeamtosupportthe creation, administration and maintenance of multiple workflows supporting the organization.The DWEis responsible fordesigning, implementing, and supporting enterprise document management and automation solutions, with a focus on Intelligent Document Processing. This role develops andmaintainssystems that capture, classify, extract, and route information from structured and unstructured documents into downstream business applications.

The DWE supports our global insurance and claim document business processes. The role will work closelywith business stakeholders andtechnicalteammates to translate operational requirements into scalable document processing workflows and integrations. Responsibilities include solution configuration, performance optimization, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of automated content management processes.

Essential Duties andFunctions:include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • AI and Document Processing Technology experience including, but not limited to:

  • Strong understanding of Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) technology - including classification, extraction, validation, and workflow automation.

  • Experience configuring and deploying document classification models and data extraction rules.

  • Familiarity with hybrid/agentic AI capabilities (AI-native document capture,NLP, and machine learning workflows).

  • Strong Integration and Automation experience including, but not limitedto:

  • Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and Intelligent Character Recognition (ICR) expertise.

  • Understanding integration patterns for data flow into enterprise systems (OnBase, RPA tools,Business Process Managementsuites,etcetera).

  • Familiarity with workflow automation, process monitoring, and exception handling.

  • Experience supporting low-code/no-code configuration tools andIntegratedDevelopment Environments (IDE)forIDPdesign workflows.

  • Comfortable scripting or usingbusiness processmodels,designers or similar tools.

  • Knowledge of how to manage and maintain complex process design structures.

  • Familiarity withdata governance, role-based access, and secure document handling

  • Experience creating technical documentation, such as business requirements and/or functional requirements by working withtechnical staff,managersandend-users.

  • Experience deconstructing technological solutions for the purpose of documentation of current products and processes.

  • Experience performing, analyzing, and documenting gap analysis (i.e., current process vs. proposed process).

  • Participate in the development of documentation forend usersand product monitoring staff.

  • Assisting with application program testing, and quality assurance as required to vet veracity of business specifications.

  • Ability to work closely with development, operational and functional departments as necessary (i.e., technical and non-technical staff).

  • Demonstrated technical aptitudeand ability toact as a liaison between business users and thetechnical staffto write and assess new business requirements and change requests.

  • Assist Project Management to coordinate and support project and application releases.

  • Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent combination of education, training and on-the-job experience.

  • Minimum1-3yearsofexperiencewith workflow configuration intelligent extraction tools

  • Minimum1-3yearsofexperiencein ECM tools or a similar technical role

  • Proficient with MS Office Suite

Preferred

  • Experience with OCR/ICR engines

  • Experience with workflow management, AI, machine learning systems

  • Experience with Jira, Tempo, Confluence, andSmartsheetdesired

  • Familiarity with concepts of relational databasesandSQL preferred

  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure components and deployments (AWS, Azure)preferred

  • Familiarity with C# preferred but notrequired.

  • Familiarity with homeowners' (property) insurance concepts preferred but notrequired.

Physical Requirements Necessary on a Regular Basis:

  • Manual dexterity, arm and upper body range of motion sufficient for use of a keyboard, mouse and telephone 7-8 hours per day.
  • Speech and hearing sufficient for in-person and telephone communication 7-8 hours per day.
  • Vision sufficient for use of a computer monitor.
  • Ability to sit at adesk for7-8 hours per day.
  • Repetitive motion
