Job description

Overview

Cordoba Corporation is a leading engineering and program management firm based in California. We are seeking a Project Support II to join our Energy-Gas sector. This position plays a critical role in managing document control and project support functions across multiple engineering initiatives within the gas utility sector. This role ensures compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements by developing and maintaining document control procedures and overseeing project closeout deliverables. Acting as a liaison between engineering, procurement, and construction teams, the coordinator drives process improvements in data management and reporting accuracy. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in mentoring junior staff while supporting efficient project execution.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee document control processes, ensuring timely review, approval, and distribution of engineering documents
  • Assist in tracking and managing technical and procurement-related documentation throughout the project lifecycle
  • Conduct intermediate data analysis and reporting, identifying trends and discrepancies in project data
  • Participate in project meetings to provide document control and data tracking updates
  • Assist with project closeout activities, including the preparation of final document turnover packages.
  • Visit field sites occasionally based on project needs.
Qualifications
  • 4 to 7 years of experience in document control, project support, or procurement-related roles in an engineering or construction environment
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong working knowledge of engineering document control systems and procurement workflows
  • Proficiency using the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Advance proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, data validation, and reporting tools) and document management software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

 

Pay Range: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Work Location: Onsite 5 days per week in the Santa Clarita, CA office

Visa Sponsorship: Legal authorization to work in the U.S.A. on a full-time basis without sponsorship

Physical Requirements: Ability to pass a pre-authorized physical including a drug-screening and background check
