Covius is seeking an individual with high attention to detail who will assist with opening, prepping, sorting, and data entry of incoming mail in an environment that supports multiple clients.
Essential Functions
  • Sort, track, and process incoming mail, including scanning counts, daily box counts, and related reporting.
  • Enter data from physical mail into the system of record with strong accuracy, including document validation, signature verification, and notation of document markings.
  • Maintain daily logs and reports for tracking, billing, reconciliation, production, and accuracy goals.
  • Support quality control processes for incoming mail and assist with research or escalation of missing documents or issues.
  • Assist with USPS pickup, document storage preparation, supply distribution, printing, and other clerical mailroom tasks.
  • Perform minor maintenance on office or mailroom equipment and support special projects such as system testing and procedure updates.
  • Move or lift boxes or containers of documents for sorting, scanning, preparation, and processing; weight may be up to 30 lbs.
  • Communicate effectively with leadership and team members, escalate issues proactively, and maintain strict confidentiality of financial data.
  • This position will have KPI metrics based on the number of tasks completed as well as the ability to maintain an acceptable error rate.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is required.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Physical Demands and Activities
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to communicate. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and constantly operate a computer and other office equipment using hands and fingers for fine manipulation, including keyboarding and mouse use. The employee must occasionally lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, such as files and small parcels and/or move boxes weighing up to 30lbs. Prolonged periods of sitting or standing may be required depending on the nature of the work. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to observe objects at close range in presence of glare or bright lighting (e.g. computer screen).
