The Quality Control Technician is responsible for inspecting, testing, and evaluating heavy equipment to

ensure optimal performance, safety compliance, and adherence to company and industry standards. This role

requires mechanical expertise, attention to detail, and collaboration with maintenance teams to minimize

downtime and improve equipment reliability


Responsibilities:


Equipment Inspections:

  • Conduct routine and detailed inspections of heavy equipment, including bulldozers, cranes, excavators, and backhoes.
  • Identify wear, damage, or malfunctions, ensuring all equipment meets operational and safety standards.

Testing & Evaluation:

  • Perform functional tests on machinery to evaluate performance and detect potential issues.
  • Ensure all tests align with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.

Documentation & Reporting:

  • Maintain detailed records of inspections, testing, and repairs for quality control purposes.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports for management, ensuring maintenance and repair work meets quality standards.

Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving:

  • Diagnose equipment faults and mechanical failures, assisting in root cause analysis.
  • Work with maintenance teams to identify long-term solutions and process improvements.

Regulatory Compliance:
