Job Summary
The Adjunct Instructor position in Human Services is responsible for teaching across a curriculum to include HBSE I and II, Survey, Professional Communication, and electives as needed; may also supervise pre-practicum and practicum courses; and may also be asked to develop elective classes based on the areas of expertise.
Adjunct faculty members are employed to provide specific courses on an as-needed basis. Contracts for adjunct faculty members are issued on a semester or term basis. Adjunct Instructors hold the responsibility for the management of courses taught. Adjunct Instructors are expected to be available for a reasonable amount of time for each course taught to counsel students regarding course work.

Minimum Qualifications
1. Master's degree in a Health Related field
2. Higher Education teaching experience
3. Grant management experience
4. Curriculum development experience
Preferred Qualifications
1. Higher Education teaching experience in social work and/or rehabilitation, and/or human services education
2. A focus on developing teaching skills using innovative delivery methods and further developing web-based educational materials
