Job description

Accident Centers of Texas is a well renowned multidisciplinary practice providing Physical Therapy and Chiropractic services to auto injury and personal injury patients.

At ACT Fort Worth clinics we would like to hire Doctor of Chiropractic to help with our ongoing operations and business needs. This DC will also provide the coverage in Fort Worth locations based on the needs.

  • Conduct patient consultations by reviewing health and medical histories; questioning, observing and examining patients.
  • Perform manual adjustments to the spine, or other articulations of the body, to correct the musculoskeletal system.
  • Use heat, cold, massage therapy and other methods to treat patients
  • Obtain and record patientsโ€™ medical histories.
  • Arrange for diagnostic x-rays to be taken, and reviewing or referring x-rays
  • Analyze x-rays to locate the sources of patientsโ€™ difficulties and rule out fractures or diseases as sources of problems.
  • Maintain accurate case histories of patients.
  • Educate patients on the quality-of-life benefits of routine chiropractic care.
  • Provide a patient with educational resources and a recommended course of treatment.
  • Creating a plan of care that focuses on the patientโ€™s overall health and wellbeing
  • Assessing the patientโ€™s spine, posture and reflexes to provide the appropriate treatment
  • Performing neuromusculoskeletal therapy by adjusting the patientโ€™s spine and other joints
  • Providing supplemental treatments, such as massage and acupuncture to the injured area
  • Giving advice on lifestyle habits such as sleep, exercise and diet to improve patientsโ€™ physical health

Requirements

  • Must have Doctor of Chiropractic Degree and State of TX License
  • Must have at least 1 year Personal Injury and Auto Injury experience.
  • Experienced Chiropractors
  • Training in soft tissue/joint mobilization techniques
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Positive, enthusiastic, empathetic, selfless personality
  • Strong time management skills
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, Excel, Google etc.
  • Experienced in using EMR
  • Must be able to provide coverage in different clinics based on the needs
  • Bilingual is must
