Paraco Dock / Yard employees allow our operations to run efficiently by providing support for facility and service operations. As brand ambassadors to Paraco, our dock/yard employees provide memorable, positive, and engaging experiences by providing customer service with propane filling and selling while ensuring our drivers have the tools and supplies necessary to service our customers. The dock/yard employee is an integral member of the Paraco family who brings a positive work ethic to deliver a great customer experience. Reporting to the Plant Supervisor, you will be a critical Gas Production Line Grill Cylinder Dock team member.

Key responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to:

  • Facility maintenance - keeping yard and dock area clean and organized
  • Unloading tanks/cylinders
  • Refilling tanks/cylinders
  • Calibrating scales daily
  • Daily plant inspections
  • Filling Motor Fuel
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather and driving conditions.
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 75 pounds throughout the day and bend, climb, reach, & rotate

Required Skills:

  • 2+ years of forklift experience
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Preferred Skills:

  • Superior organizational and cleaning skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills - customer-focused, enthusiastic, committed, motivated, and resourceful
  • Listening, reading, and following instructions to perform responsibilities safely and efficiently
  • Attention to detail and awareness of surroundings to ensure safety
  • Practical verbal and written communication skills to speak with customers, vendors, and other employees.
