Job description

We are seeking an IP Admin Senior Analyst (Trademark Docketing) to join our US IP Admin Team, within the Service Operations team at Clarivate. This team is responsible for fulfilling trademark operational tasks as requested in most areas of trademark prosecution (applications, registrations, recordals and renewals) based on defined workflow and Standard Operating Procedures. In this role, you will be responsible for providing Trademark docketing support to customers, including deadline management, docketing maintenance, correspondence processing, and support of Trademark prosecution activities. This position is subject to U.S. export control requirements under the Export Administration Regulations ("EAR") and International Traffic in Arms Regulations ("ITAR").

About You - experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent relevant work experience
  • 1+ year of trademark docketing experience
  • 1+ Experience with IP Docketing/Database Systems (e.g. FoundationIP or similar)
  • Experience in Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Word and Excel

It would be great if you also had...

  • 2+ years of experience with FoundationIP, Memotech, or IPFolio
  • U.S. and foreign patent docketing, filing & prosecution experience
  • A paralegal certificate from an ABA approved program is a plus

What will you be doing in this role?

  • Monitor and manage a high-volume shared docketing inbox, prioritizing and processing incoming requests across multiple matter types
  • Docket and maintain deadlines for trademark applications, oppositions, cancellations, litigation matters, and foreign filings
  • Analyze correspondence to identify critical deadlines and ensure accurate docket entry
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders regarding case status, deadlines, and required actions
  • Process incoming and outgoing communications within IP management systems
  • Prioritize and execute docketing/de-docketing requests in accordance with SLAs
  • Maintain accurate and complete records, including document management and file updates
  • Support complex trademark workflows, including opposition and litigation-related docketing
  • Assist with performing quality checks
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of U.S. and international trademark procedures, including contested matters

Compensation - US Only

The expected base salary for this position is $50,000 - $70,000 USD per year.This role is eligible for bonus earnings.Individual pay is based upon experience, education, skill and ability, expertise, and relevant factors.
