Shipping Dock Worker - Second Shift

Location: Hinton, VA 22831

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Shipping Dock Worker to join our team on the second shift at our Hinton, VA facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with the loading, unloading, and organization of shipments to ensure efficient and accurate delivery of products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and unload trucks and shipping containers safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and damage.
  • Organize and stage products for shipment according to company procedures.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment on the dock.
  • Assist with inventory counts and documentation as required.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse work is a plus.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely (forklift certification a plus).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
