Description:

Main Light is recruiting for a Dock Associate in Wilmington, Delaware. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day dock operations including order processing, receiving, loading and unloading, and maintaining dock organization in accordance with company standards and procedures.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

  • Perform daily cleaning tasks of the dock to maintain cleanliness and organization.
  • Manage inbound and outbound orders including loading and unloading trucks.
  • Scan Bills of Lading (BOL) and submit to the shipping department.
  • Ensure cases are clean and labeled before loading.
  • Confirm rental shipments through the Rental Advantage system.
  • Support check-ins of orders upon return.
  • Prepare skids and provide weights and dimensions to shipping for outbound rentals and used sales.
  • Pull all orders for the dock with or without assistance, depending on order size.
  • Restack and put away all truss and dock equipment upon return.
  • Paint truss for rentals, used sales, or repair as needed.
  • Repair cases as needed.
  • Maintain, cut, and thread pipe inventory.
  • Provide support to other departments as required.
Requirements:

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 1โ€“2 years of warehouse, dock, or logistics experience required; experience with entertainment or production gear preferred.
  • General warehouse and logistics experience strongly considered.
  • Must be in good physical condition with the ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand, bend, and move for extended periods during the workday.

QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge of:

  • Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing work tasks.
  • Forklift and pallet jack operation.
  • Bill of Lading (BOL) and basic shipping and receiving procedures.
  • Warehouse management or inventory systems (e.g., Rental Advantage).

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
  • High level of professionalism with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Basic computer skills for order entry and system confirmation.
  • Effective verbal communication skills when working with team members and vendors.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
