Job description

Lynden Logistics is looking for a motivated Dock to Class 4 Driver Trainee to support our Warehouse Operations team in Honolulu. As our Dock to Driver Trainee, you’ll help load and unload freight, support daily warehouse operations, and prepare for local delivery driving responsibilities to support safe and efficient cargo movement. This is a safety sensitive position.

Pay Range:
$23-26/hour

Position Schedule:
11am-7pm, Monday-Friday with weekend overtime opportunities

What you’ll be doing:

  • Receive, load, unload, and move freight using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling
  • Inspect shipments, verify piece counts, and ensure proper labeling and documentation
  • Secure freight for safe transport using straps, tarps, and other equipment
  • Operate warehouse equipment and support cross-dock operations
  • Enter shipment data and maintain accurate records in company systems
  • Participate in hands-on training to prepare for driving responsibilities
  • Transition into local delivery driving duties as part of the Dock to Driver program

  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform frequent physical movement (standing, lifting, bending, etc.)

Extra credit if you have:

  • Previous warehouse, freight, or logistics experience
  • Experience operating forklifts or other material-handling equipment
  • Exposure to transportation or delivery operations
