This includes tasks such as unloading and loading trucks or ships, inspecting shipments, organizing inventory, and ensuring safety procedures are followed. Effective dock operations help prevent delays, minimize damage to goods, and maintain accurate inventory records.

As the first point of entry for every event, the loading dock is a fast-paced, high-energy environment where strong coordination, communication, and execution are essential.

Endurance Beyond the Norm: The pace of live events can mean long days, late nights, and early mornings. The schedule will vary based on the event calendar and operational needs, requiring flexibility, resilience, and the ability to remain focused and effective throughout demanding shifts. The ability to maintain a steady presence and support the team through busy periods is key to success in this role.

Juggling Client Relationships: The Manager, Loading Dock Operations, is at the intersection of multiple client relationships, with a focus on the Brooklyn Nets and New York Liberty. Success involves not only managing these relationships but also ensuring seamless coordination and execution of events and deliveries to meet the diverse needs of each client. The ability to balance and prioritize multiple clients simultaneously is a key component of success.
