Job description

Arthritis Knee Pain Centers is looking to bring on a motivated medical assistant onto our team!

As a DME (Durable Medical Equipment) Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for performing necessary fittings for custom knee braces. You will educate patients to guarantee that each DME product achieves its prescribed clinical outcome. The target is to ensure our patients are provided with a comfortable and safe experience.

Responsibilities

  • Review patient charts to prepare for delivery of braces and set daily goals.
  • Ensure inventory is accurately counted and recorded daily.
  • Participate in routing patients through the practice.
  • Measure and fit prescribed braces.
  • Perform adjustments/re-fittings as necessary.
  • Ensure patient bracing data is accurately recorded.

Skills

  • Medical assistant experience (preferred)
