Overview: Join a dedicated healthcare team as a Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Coordinator, responsible for managing the procurement, distribution, maintenance, and documentation of durable medical equipment within outpatient clinics. This role ensures compliance with regulatory standards and fosters effective communication among healthcare providers, patients, and equipment suppliers.

Education and Certifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Medical assistant certification from an accredited program is mandatory. Accepted credentials include CMA (American Association of Medical Assistants), RMA (American Medical Technologists), CMA(MEDCA), RMA(ARMA), CCMA, and NRCMA.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required.
Experience:
  • At least one year of relevant experience coordinating durable medical equipment in a clinical setting.
  • Preferred: One year of clinical experience in an outpatient environment.
