Title: Delivery Merchandiser Manager (DMM)
Job Summary:
The Delivery Merchandiser Manager (DMM) is responsible for leading and coaching a team of Delivery Merchandisers (DM), Delivery Merchandiser Reliefs (DMR) and Delivery Merchandiser Leads (DML) to promote the delivery of products and to provide exemplary customer service. The Delivery Merchandiser Manager plays an integral role in developing and leading the frontline delivery team to success.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Manage assigned DMs, DMRs and DMLs
  • Provide coaching, training and motivation to new and existing DMs, DMRs and DMLs to ensure the achievement of branch revenue, profit and growth goals
  • Manage DM, DMR and DML performance to ensure customer base goals are achieved; hold drivers accountable for executing their duties and responsibilities and take proper corrective action, as recommended, if necessary, including termination of employment
  • Lead strong safety culture by utilizing company safety initiatives to minimize injury, work time loss, and productivity loss
  • Ensure that staffing levels are maintained at an appropriate level to meet current and future delivery needs
  • Conduct scheduled interactions with DMs, DMRs and DMLs including Work With, one-on-ones, and riding with them for additional training, coaching and routine driving observations

Physical Requirements:
  • Physical demands with activity or condition existing a considerable amount of time include sitting, standing, bending, lifting and caring products
  • Must be able to frequently lift/move 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to grip a minimum of 45 lbs. with each hand

Minimum Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience with strong Managerial Skills
  • Valid Texas Driver's License (Class C) with a minimum of 5 years driving experience, clean driving record with no moving violations over the past 3 years.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and order processing systems
  • Basic math skillset and the ability to read, write, and communicate in English related to job duties and safety regulations
  • No visible tattoos or piercings permitted while in the workplace
  • Smoke- & Vape-Free Workplace
  • Contingent upon the successful completion of a company-initiated and approved background check and motor vehicle report (MVR), drug screen, physical, and human performance evaluation (HPE)
