Truck Country, a division of McCoy Group, is looking for a Service Manager to take full ownership of our service department operations. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving profitability, technician performance, customer satisfaction, and team development.

W hat You'll Do
  • Lead and develop a team of Shop Foremen, Service Advisors, and Diesel Technicians
  • Drive shop performance, maintaining 96%+ technician efficiency and minimizing comebacks
  • Partner with leadership to execute business plans and grow service department revenue
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, including resolving concerns and generating new business
  • Collaborate with recruiting to attract and retain top technician talent
  • Oversee employee development, training progress, and performance evaluations
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and well-maintained shop environment
  • Monitor tools, equipment, and operational readiness
  • Uphold company standards

What We're Looking For
  • Proven leadership experience in a dealership or fleet service environment
  • Minimum 4+ years of supervisory experience
  • Strong understanding of heavy-duty truck service operations
  • Ability to lead teams, drive accountability, and improve performance metrics
  • Excellent communication skills with customers, employees, and leadership
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
  • Team-oriented mindset with a focus on employee growth and retention

Basic Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Combination of relevant diesel industry experience and training
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Valid driver's license

Work Environment

  • Physical requirements include occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs) and active movement throughout the shop
  • Regular onsite presence required
