Location: Syracuse, IN -- Field-Based

Lead the Crew. Own the Results. Help Us Raise the Standard.

Dynamic Landscaping is a growing landscaping company serving Syracuse and surrounding Northern Indiana communities with landscaping, lawn care, property maintenance, irrigation, and related outdoor services. We are building a company where landscaping professionals can support their families, develop new skills, move into leadership, and build long-term careers. Our standards are rooted in integrity, dependability, customer care, pride in quality work, and developing strong people from within.

Dynamic Landscaping is looking for experienced Fertilization Division Leads who can take ownership of a service division, support field crews, and become a dependable link between technicians and the Production Manager. As our company grows, we are strengthening our leadership structure so that teams have knowledgeable leaders who can answer questions, troubleshoot problems, train employees, monitor work, and keep communication flowing.

This is a hands-on leadership position. You should be comfortable working in the field while also handling responsibilities such as supervising employees, approving time, ordering materials, communicating with customers, solving problems, and helping technicians improve their skills.

  • Lead and support field employees within an assigned landscaping or service division.
  • Provide day-to-day direction, coaching, and technical guidance to crew members and technicians.
  • Help train employees on proper procedures, quality expectations, safety, and company standards.
  • Troubleshoot field, equipment, service, or customer issues as they arise.
  • Serve as a communication link between field crews and the Production Manager.
  • Review and approve employee timesheets and other required documentation.
  • Use company software to document work, track information, and support operational processes.
  • Coordinate materials, supplies, and other resources required by your division.
  • Monitor quality and productivity and help hold team members accountable.
  • Communicate professionally with customers when field questions or concerns arise.
  • Ensure crews understand the scope of work and expectations before and during projects.
  • Help solve problems proactively before they create larger production issues.
  • Maintain reliable attendance and lead by example.
  • Promote teamwork between divisions, production, sales, and office staff.
  • Help develop employees so technicians and crew members can grow into greater responsibility over time.

Qualifications

  • Previous professional experience in landscaping, lawn care, irrigation, fertilization, property maintenance, or a related green-industry field.
  • Previous experience leading employees, crews, or teams strongly preferred.
  • Ability to coach employees and hold team members accountable.
  • Strong people and communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English with customers, crew members, and management regarding work instructions, safety, scheduling, and service issues.
  • Comfortable interacting professionally with customers.
  • Strong reliability and attendance.
  • Basic computer skills and willingness to consistently use company software.
  • Ability to learn new technology, systems, and processes.
  • Organized and able to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced field environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Team-oriented leadership style.
  • Comfortable receiving feedback and working within clearly defined processes and performance expectations.
  • Valid driver's license required due to regular travel between customer properties and job sites.
  • Specific technical experience in irrigation, fertilization, lawn care, maintenance, or another landscaping specialty is highly valued depending on the division.
  • This is a hands-on, field-based leadership position. Employees should be able to work outdoors in the conditions normally encountered in landscape operations and perform the essential field duties of their assigned division.

Pay and Benefits

  • Full-time, W-2 Employment
  • Pay: $22 - $25 per hour, depending on experience and technical background.
  • Supplemental insurance options available, including dental, vision, short-term disability, and hospitalization coverage.
  • 401(k) available after 6 months with a 4% company match.
  • Field employees become eligible for 5 days of paid vacation after 12 consecutive months of employment.
  • Training and opportunities to learn additional landscaping specialties.
  • Leadership development and opportunities for increased responsibility as the organization grows.
  • Potential long-term advancement into higher-level production and operations leadership.
  • Schedule: Typically Monday-Friday, with additional hours or weekends as required during peak season

Why Dynamic Landscaping?

As a Division Lead, you will play an important role in building the next level of leadership within a rapidly growing company. You will have the chance to develop people, improve how work gets done, learn across multiple service divisions, and take real ownership of results. If you are dependable, growth-oriented, comfortable with accountability, and willing to lead the same way whether someone is watching or not, we want to build with you.
