What You'll Do


Provide Quality Laundry Services

• Collect soiled laundry from various areas throughout the community.
• Sort, wash, dry, and process flat linens, personal laundry, dietary linens, and other facility items according to established procedures.
• Fold and prepare clean laundry for distribution.
• Deliver resident personal laundry to healthcare rooms promptly and accurately.


Support Resident Care and Comfort

• Help maintain residents' dignity by ensuring clean and properly cared-for personal clothing and linens.
• Provide clean linens and laundry items needed by nursing, dietary, and housekeeping departments.
• Contribute to a positive experience for residents, families, and visitors through high-quality laundry services.


Maintain Safe and Efficient Operations

• Operate commercial laundry equipment safely and effectively.
• Follow all infection control policies and procedures.
• Complete daily laundry room cleaning and sanitation schedules.
• Ensure assigned tasks are completed within established timeframes.


Be a Valuable Team Member

• Cross-train in housekeeping responsibilities to support departmental needs.
• Follow established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.


Work Schedule:

Full-Time 7:00am - 3:00pm

Tuesday-Friday and every other weekend

Requirements:

Required:

• Less than a high school education, high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and understand simple instructions, correspondence, service manuals, and memos.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and solve routine problems.


Preferred:

• Experience working with commercial laundry equipment.
• Previous laundry, housekeeping, environmental services, or healthcare support experience.
