Job description

JOB TITLE: Laundry Attendant

DIVISION: Lodging

REPORTS TO: Executive Housekeeper

LOCATION: Solitude Resort Lodging

CLASSIFICATION: Full Time/Part Time YR1/Seasonal

PURPOSE OF POSITION: Provide exceptional guest service while ensuring that laundry is processed and that Room Attendants have the proper tools in place to clean/turn guest rooms- closets stocked and organized, inventories up to par and rooms are stripped immediately following departures.

SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent communication, organization and problem solving skills
  • Follow company guidelines for grooming and uniform standards
  • The ability to work mornings and evenings
  • The ability to stand for up to 8 hours
  • The ability to lift 40 lbs.
  • The ability to work independently, without supervision
  • The ability to multitask- prioritize and address issues accordingly

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide exceptional guest service
  • Process all guest room linen and terry, folding items then stocking closets
  • Process all pool towels for different locations
  • Stock housekeeping closets with all room supplies, toiletries etc.
  • Ensure the laundry room is clean and organized
  • Empty trash containers throughout building as needed
  • Assist with stripping vacant rooms immediately following departures
  • Remove dirty linens and trash from housekeeping closets
  • Complete inventory upon request for guest room supplies as well as housekeeping/laundry cleaning supplies and chemicals
  • Additional duties may be assigned as needed
