Job Description

Program Director – Oversight and coordination of one or more residential and/or day programs serving individuals with developmental disabilities (IDD). The position combines direct care with supervisory duties.

  • Personnel management and program coordination, including ensuring staff complete orientation and ongoing training.
  • Monitor all program aspects, develop individual goals and plans, and implement the program.
  • Coordinate and manage overall operations, including medical, financial, and maintenance aspects of the program, guiding and directing the site manager.
Hours

Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm. Must have a flexible schedule and be available on call when needed, including weekends and odd hours.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a human services field of study preferred.
  • At least 1 year of full‑time, direct experience working with participants with developmental or intellectual disabilities.
  • At least 2 years of experience in management and working with developmental disabilities.
  • Demonstrated good decision‑making, time‑management, and communication skills; responsible, mature, and flexible.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Successful background clearance required as part of the onboarding/employment process.
