Job description

The Greece Central School District believes that all students benefit from a culture where diversity, inclusion, and equity with excellence are valued. Greece Central School District welcomes stakeholders who can collaborate with other staff to ensure that our policies, regulations, practices, programs and services promote equity, inclusion, and diversity.
Salary: $25.00/Hour Minimum    
Bargaining Unit (click here for contracts): Non-Unit
Report Times: 12:30-2:30pm
Daily Hours:2
Work Year: 2027
Supervisor: Assistant Director of Community Schools
Minimum Requirements: High school diploma
Desired Qualifications: Prior experience working with students, familiarity with literacy interventions;
Strong communication skills;
Ability to engage with diverse learners;
Patience and adaptability;
Belief in the potential for all students to succeed.
Position Summary/Responsibilities:  Help improve student confidence and achievement in ELA;
Provide personalized, targeted instruction to students based on individual learning needs;
Monitor and assess student progress using formative assessments;
Collaborate with program staff and instructional coaches to align tutoring strategies;
Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to students to foster engagement and confidence;
Participate in training sessions, ongoing coaching, and professional development activities;
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and outcomes;
Other duties as assigned.
