Brown & Brown is seeking a Senior Benefits Coordinator to join our growing team in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Remote Florida.

In this role, you will be the goto partner for daytoday assistance, responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the sales and service team ensuring the efficient management of client onboarding, billing, commission processing, vendor payments, and other activities as needed. Serves as a key resource for internal staff, assisting with reporting, carrier appointments, portal access, benefits administration, while maintaining accurate documentation and financial records. The Senior Benefits Coordinator performs these essential functions while meeting RSC quality and service standards. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys problemsolving, values accuracy, and wants to make a meaningful impact within a fastmoving insurance brokerage environment.

How You Will Contribute:

  • Process wall feeds (daily)

  • Sign documents (daily)

  • Process vendor invoices (when received)

  • Administer Concur expenses monthly for the Managing Director

  • Collect HHA, client intake, electronic consent form, & send AOR's to new customers!

  • Complete Epic agency billing invoicing for applicable customers on a monthly or quarterly basis

  • Process commission splits (every two weeks)

  • Process producer chargebacks.

  • Assist producers with proposals & print jobs (formatting renewal meetings from Excel to PowerPoint)

  • Assist AM's adding mineral clients.

  • Send commission checks received in the office (about two times a month)

  • Get producer's state license & carrier appointments.

  • Assist accounting with missing commission statements.

  • Secure carrier portal access from carriers and vendors for AM's and Accounting

  • Assist Account Manages with processing enrollment and changes.

  • Prepare reports and communicate updates.

  • Perform other duties as needed, including projects.

Skills & Experience to be Successful:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business, or a related field (preferred).

  • Valid L&H brokers' license preferred, or ability to obtain within 90 days.

  • 2-5 years of experience in benefits administration or coordination.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Basic knowledge of employee benefits programs and regulations.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a team environment and manage confidential information.

  • Skilled in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
