Who You Are:

As the District Operations Manager, you are responsible for managing the overall operations within an assigned region, to include overseeing Full-time Butlers/Trainers and Part-time Butlers. You will be the driving force in operational excellence and customer satisfaction throughout your assigned communities. As the District Operations Manager, you will work alongside our frontline employees. You will manage your time between recruiting, hiring, interviewing, training, payroll, and oversight of the remote workforce who service our communities.

Your primary function of this role will be to ensure that nightly trash pick-up is completed by your team per schedule to 100% satisfaction of our clients! As we grow and roll out new communities, the District Operations Manager will also coordinate with the field team to ensure a successful rollout and service launch.

This position is onsite in Nashville, TN.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Scheduling: Create and manage work schedules for Butlers to ensure proper staffing levels.
  • Call-Outs and Service Replacements: Manage Butler callouts and arrange replacements to avoid service disruptions.
  • New Property Rollout Coordination: Oversee the launch of services at new properties, coordinating Butler assignments and supplies.
  • Site Visits and Audits: Conduct regular on-site visits and audits to monitor service quality and compliance.
  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any on-site service issues or client complaints.
  • Payroll and Timekeeping Adjustments: Ensure accurate clock-ins and clock-outs and handle any payroll discrepancies.
  • Managing COGS: Monitor and manage the cost of goods sold (COGS) to ensure financial efficiency in service operations.
  • Supplies Management: Submit jot forms to replenish supplies as needed for service.
  • Butler Coaching and Corrective Actions: Provide guidance and feedback to Butlers, addressing performance issues as necessary.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and monitor Butler performance through scorecards and on-site evaluations.
  • Worker’s Compensation: Handle worker’s compensation claims and related issues for field staff.

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2-5 years of management experience, with a proven track record of leadership and team development.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a remote workforce of up to 50 individuals, who work 5-7 days a week for approximately 2-3 hours per day.
  • Strong background in employee relations, encompassing hiring and management practices to foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Experience in multi-site operations, effectively coordinating and optimizing processes across different locations.
  • Exceptional decision-making skills, capable of navigating complex situations and making sound judgments.
  • Previous experience in delivering high-quality customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and effectively.
  • Proficiency in planning, time management, and organizational skills to handle multiple responsibilities and deadlines concurrently.
  • Strong work ethic and a commitment to continuous quality improvement, driving excellence in all aspects of operations.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust, rapport, and effective communication with colleagues, employees, and customers alike.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance with good driving record.

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds bend at waist/knees and lift bag over shoulder, climb up/downstairs, drive for periods of time.
