Job description

Wise Staffing Group is now seeking a Regional Operations Manager to service the greater Memphis, TN territory! Base salary ranges from $60,000 - $75,000 annually, with total compensation estimated at $100,000+!


Summary:


The Regional Operations Manager is a goal-oriented, self-starter with proven experience in planning, directing, and executing the operational and staffing activities of a multi-location territory. This role is responsible for the management and direction of branch staff, developing and implementing office growth strategies, and directing operational and staffing services provided to clients.


Responsibilities:

  • Acts as the point of contact for sales and executive leadership regarding operational performance. Communicates data on a daily and weekly basis (e.g. net gains, weekly projections).
  • Develops a detailed understanding of territory performance. Collaborates with sales team to create and implement strategies focused on client satisfaction and revenue growth.
  • Communicates branch objectives to internal staff daily. Regroups with branch teams daily to assess progress, needs, and goals for the upcoming day/week.
  • Holds operational team accountable for performance expectations. Spends time in each office regularly. Assesses team performance and provides on-going training for team members.
  • Makes decisions regarding the hiring and firing of branch staff. Creates and issues performance improvement plans in collaboration with the Corporate Human Resources team.
  • Provides technical, operational, and managerial assistance to team members. Addresses escalated matters promptly and professionally. Provides satisfactory solutions to clients and teaches staff how to do the same.
  • Conducts market research, generates sales leads, and schedules appointments with prospective clients on behalf of the sales team. Teaches market researching methods to internal staff.
  • Builds strong relationships and establishes trust with new and existing clients. Leverages relationships to extract orders and generate revenue growth.
  • Organizes and facilitates hiring events, client meetings, and other business-related events and appointments.
  • Ensures the building and maintenance of candidate pipelines tailored to client needs and expectations. Verifies the timely fulfillment of all client orders. Assists team members with the completion of urgent operational matters.
  • Designs and executes new candidate sourcing methods.
  • Guarantees the completion of drug tests, background checks, E-Verification, and all other necessary onboarding and preparation of candidates prior to placing with clients.
  • Ensures operations team successfully investigates, resolves, and documents issues relating to associates placed with clients (e.g. performance, attendance, payroll).
  • Delegates the investigation, documentation, and evaluation of matters regarding worker’s compensation, unemployment, and discrimination complaints. Ensures swift, professional resolutions while relaying pertinent information to all appropriate parties.
  • Verifies the completion of required client visits (e.g. check-ins, orientations, walk-throughs, investigations). Deploys team members to client sites as necessary.
  • Unifies branches as a singular territory. Ignites branch collaboration. Coordinates shift coverage, order fulfillment, payroll processing, and all other duties.
  • Travels to branches within territory frequently, occasionally on short notice.
  • Assists with all responsibilities assigned to branch staff as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Reliable transportation. Willingness and ability to travel to any branch and client site within assigned territory with short notice as necessary.
  • Flexible shift availability. Ability to work beyond operating hours as required by business needs.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g. Avionte)
  • Prior experience with external recruiting and/or staffing industry required
  • Excellent time management
  • Proficiency with MS Office and other basic computer/clerical skills
