Retail District Operations Manager

HomeTown Pharmacy is seeking a driven and people‑focused Retail District Operations Manager to lead store operations across a multi‑location district. This role is ideal for a hands‑on leader who thrives in a fast‑paced retail environment, builds strong teams, and consistently delivers exceptional customer service. The District Operations Manager partners closely with the District Pharmacy Manager, Store Operations Managers, Pharmacists, and Associates to drive sales, maintain operational excellence, and uphold the HomeTown Pharmacy culture. This leader sets the tone for professionalism, ethical decision‑making, and a customer‑first mindset.

What You’ll Do

Pharmacy (Rx) Department

  • Provide general support and oversight in partnership with the Pharmacy Manager
  • Serve as direct oversight when no Pharmacy Manager is present
  • Inventory management
  • Data entry and prescription claim billing

Front-End Operations

  • Support or directly oversee the Front-End Supervisor
  • Lead front-end operations when no supervisor is present
  • Ensure proper product facing, ordering, and merchandising

Accounting amp; Reporting

  • Oversee daily, weekly, monthly, and annual paperwork
  • Complete reports accurately and on schedule
  • Use reporting insights to drive sales and operational decisions

Human Resources amp; Team Leadership

  • Demonstrate professional presence and strong interpersonal skills
  • Lead hiring and termination decisions
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations
  • Motivate and develop employees through training and mentorship
  • Set clear objectives and ensure accountability
  • Foster a culture of high-quality customer service

General Operations
