Responsibilities

As a District Manager at Critter Control, you lead both sales and service operations across your territory. You drive growth, coach and develop teams, and ensure high-quality, compliant service delivery. You are responsible for achieving district performance goals, supporting sales execution, and maintaining strong customer relationships while overseeing overall operational and financial performance.

Your Daily Duties
  • Ensure adherence to all company policies, state and federal laws applicable to all facets of our industry to include but not limited to: Dept. of Agriculture, Dept. of Natural Resources, OSHA, EPA, division of Wage and Hour, etc.
  • Assuring that all subordinates are properly registered in required categories and attaining their required hours of ongoing education
  • Training of employees in and application of wildlife biology, entomology, administration, policies and procedures, fleet and equipment, maintenance and upkeep, time management, ethical business practices, pride, quality service, and customer satisfaction
  • Control expenses in all areas and establish a system for approval to monitor
  • Management of field staff
  • Effective route management and growth within company guidelines
  • Development of current management staff and field personnel
  • Timely completion and submission of necessary paperwork and documentation
  • Recruitment and hiring of new talent
  • Continuous profit improvement
  • Outstanding customer service
  • Quickly resolve customer issues and concerns

Qualifications

What do you need to be successful?

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree is a plus
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Must be available to travel to Atlanta, GA within 60 days of start date
  • Minimum 2 years management experience
  • Sales, military or job‑related experience
  • Hired candidates must reside or relocate central to their assigned region
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in using several types of software and applications

We go where the wildlife goes! Candidates must be physically capable of safely performing the following job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Must be able to drive to various locations, often covering large territories.
  • Frequent walking, standing, and moving through diverse types of terrain, including uneven ground, stairs, roofs, and sometimes slippery or muddy areas.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (extreme heat, extreme cold, rain, snow, etc.).
  • Must have the ability to climb stairs and ladders safely.
  • Must be able to crouch, kneel, bend, and stretch frequently.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Clear verbal communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
