Facility Maintenance Service - Distribution Center

Location: Jeffersonville, OH, USA - 8200 Bluegrass Blvd

Shift: Sunday to Thursday -5pm-1:30am. Note: shift subject to change. OT mandatory if required.

Job Summary:

McKesson's temperature-controlled Distribution Center in Jeffersonville, OH is currently hiring a Facility/Maintenance/Service Technician. This is a chance to work for a company that touches virtually every aspect of healthcare.

The distribution team is seeking an individual who has repair experience and knowledge of a broad range of complex facility systems. This position requires excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to perform complex technical tasks. This candidate should be able to communicate professionally with a wide range of groups from upper management to front line employees and possess an aptitude to learn quickly on conveyance systems.

This position offers a broad range of generalist tasks from building maintenance, taking care of repairs of internal/external areas, to overseeing and assisting with service and repairs of conveyor systems and other Distribution equipment.

What You Will Need:

  • Facility, maintenance or service technician experience, preferably in a warehouse environment

  • Troubleshooting and repair experience with a variety of different equipment used in a distribution center environment

  • Knowledge and safe usage of various types of equipment in maintenance/facility trade (hand tools, power tools, conveyors, forklifts, pressure gauges, voltmeters, etc.)

  • Basic knowledge/exposure to warehouse work environments

  • Basic knowledge/exposure to various trades (mechanical, electrical, millwright, HVAC, etc)

  • Knowledge of lock out/tag out and OHSHA

  • Work order experience

  • Experience operating Power Equipment would be considered an asset. However, location is willing to train those that are willing to learn, but, must be able to maintain certifications

  • Openness to assist with minor tasks such as picking up garbage on the floor to assisting to repair DC equipment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

  • Includes standing, sitting, walking, general labor, ladder, scissor lift & forklift use, climbing up to (4) story heights in a warehouse environment.

  • May work at heights and in cold areas at times
