Job description

We are seeking a driven, strategic, and customerfocused Territory Sales Manager to join our Advanced Materials Commercial Team.

Objective: Develop new end user and/or distributor sales in advanced materials (produced in European mills) in the Heavy industry (Energy, Oil and Gas, Chemical Industries, etc) and also to distributors. Also grow sales with existing customers.

Requirements:

           Bachelor's degree in business administration or Sales. Engineering preferred, but not mandatory

           Outside Sales Experience, minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment

           Proven 5+ years of market development in the metals industry  with experience in the Stainless Steel and/or Nickle Alloys Quarto Plate or PMP (plate mill Plate) in USA market.

           Experience developing relationship EPC's and end-users

           Strong knowledge of nickel alloys and specialty stainless steel 

           > 3 years supporting Applications & markets

           Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

           CRM, Power BI proficiency is a plus

           Availability for traveling into or out of country

Responsibilities:

           Manage and expand customer base with a clear focus to deliver value over volume.

           Consultative and technical Sales approach to sell European based Specialty Stainless and Nickel Alloys into North America. Major segments are Process / Heavy Industries and distributors

           Prospecting and capturing new business opportunities.

           Follow up on major projects and make sure we are actively participating as a competitive supplier

           Interact with EPC companies to help to influence grade selection and expand fabricators options

           Participation in specific trade shows and exhibitions representing Outokumpu

           Provides quotations, product information and samples when needed from the European production facilities units.

           Scope analysis of BIDs and opportunities for internal definition of participation.

           Preparation of technical, commercial proposals and commercial presentation:

           Commercial and operational management and maintenance of the developed customer portfolio.

           Analysis and negotiation of contracts and commercial agreements, enabling the closing of new businesses.

           Establish solid, active, long-term and Customer Relationship Management.

           Documentation and Reporting, maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, market feedback, pre- and post-sales, and control of accounts receivable.

           Dedication, commitment, organization, and availability to travel.

Salary range: USD.  121,800-152,200
