Ecolab is seeking driven B2B sales professionals to join the Canadian commercialPest Elimination Solutions Salesteam.As aSales Development Manageryou will build & grow profitable client relationships with commercial businesses to protect their brand, their facilities, and the health and safety of their employees and customers. You will drive sales and attain budget goals by leveraging prospecting, cold calling, and networking skills to target market segments including Food and Beverage Plants, Food Service Facilities, Health Care (acute, and non-acute), Lodging, Manufacturing, Distribution Centres, Educations (Private and Post-Secondary), Property Management, etc. to offer the most effective B2B pest elimination programs in Canada.

What You Will Do:

  • Build a sales pipeline by cold-calling and prospecting to secure new accounts and generate new sales within a specific geographic areaas you build Ecolab's brand in your market
  • Discover sales opportunities,implement sales strategies set, while also contribute with own insight on enhancing strategies and plans.
  • Partner with our service team, corporate account team, and inter-company partners to implement best practices to solve customer's pest problems
  • Serve as the key point of contact in a local industry-related organization

Territory: This position will be based in Montreal or very close surrounding areas and will require travel throughout Quebec and Eastern Ontario (Montreal, Quebec City, Ottawa, Kingston) to meet with customers and prospects

Overnight Travel: About 25% based on business needs

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Post secondary education preferred
  • 2-3 years of sales experience preferred with a successful sales track record
  • Bilingual - French/English or Strong French language skills with professional proficiency in English, due to the following reasons: The role posted will be supporting customers who are anglophone or in provinces outside of Quebec
  • Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
  • Immigration sponsorship not available for this role

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range:

This position has base salary and is eligible for incentive compensation based on performance, per plan terms. Total expected compensation is in the range of $90,900 - $113,600.

Ecolab in good faith anticipates it will pay within the posted range. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining the compensation for a potential new employee such as education, training, experience, work location, travel (if required), etc.
