WHO YOU ARE
Our Distribution Operator 3 in our shipping department is responsible for operating a forklift, electric pallet jack, reach truck, other material handling equipment for the purpose of moving, locating, relocating, stocking and counting merchandise in accordance to production standards. All associates must be able to cross train in all core distribution functions including unloading, put away, picking, replenishing, loading, small parcel area, rework, returns, display building, and possess basic WMS skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Unload inbound shipments and move product to storage locations.
  • Efficiently stock and store merchandise in appropriate areas.
  • Loading, unloading, moving, stocking and staging products and materials using a forklift, reach truck, walkie, or other material handling equipment.
  • Pull and prepare product for shipment ensuring the exact number and types of product is loaded.
  • Keep appropriate records and reports for inventory accuracy.
  • Comply with all OSHA regulations and MSDS standards.
  • Report quality variances.
  • Maintain the facilities equipment and materials in a neat clean orderly fashion.
  • Assist in physical inventories.
  • Ensure proper stock rotation.
  • Conduct operations in a manner promoting safety.
  • Positions parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled or following traveler packet.
  • Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips and other fasteners.
  • May work on a line or in a cell where tasks and product may vary

REQUIREMENTS
  • High School or GED recommended
  • Knowledge of inventory software and order processing systems
  • Knowledge of RF Scanner
  • Able to push, pull, lift 55 LBS continuously throughout the shift

CERTIFICATES/LICENSURE/TRAINING
  • Must pass and maintain industrial lift truck certification
