Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and assigned security-related duties at an industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or operational disruptions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify visitor and/or contractor authorization, and support badge, key, and vehicle access procedures in alignment with location policies.
• Document incidents, observations, and/or maintenance concerns, and report hazardous conditions, policy violations, or emergency situations according to post orders and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
