Job Title: Distribution Technician Location: Gainesville, GA Job Type: Contract Pay: $20.00 per hour Schedule: TBD Work Model: Onsite Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Distribution Technician to support warehouse operations through inventory control, order fulfillment, shipping, receiving, and material handling. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting cycle counts, researching discrepancies, and preparing both domestic and international shipments while ensuring compliance with company procedures and safety standards. ??????? Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory control for finished goods and warehouse equipment.
  • Perform cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies.
  • Pick, pack, verify, and prepare orders for shipment.
  • Receive, inspect, screen, prepare, and store incoming inventory.
  • Support domestic and international shipping operations.
  • Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and shipping documentation.
  • Follow all safety procedures and warehouse best practices.
  • Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Biosecurity Requirement: To comply with company biosecurity standards, candidates must not own or have regular contact with birds or poultry.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 1 year of warehouse and computerized inventory control experience preferred.
  • Previous experience with picking, packing, and order verification.
  • Strong computer skills with good written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a forklift/pallet jack operator certification.
  • Reliable attendance with flexibility to work occasional weekends.
  • Able to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
Physical Requirements:
  • Lift and carry up to 75 pounds for short distances.
  • Push and pull heavy materials as needed.
  • Stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
  • Frequently bend, squat, stoop, twist, and reach.
  • Manual dexterity and visual acuity are required.
  • Ability to work in various storage environments, including:
    • Freeze-Dried: 2°C to 7°C
    • Frozen (Liquid Nitrogen): -196°C
    • Frozen (Dry Ice): -80°C
