Job Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate activities and efficiencies of employees in a manufacturing and distribution work environment for the assembly and distribution of set-top boxes
  • Review productivity of employees daily for accuracy and compliance with established procedures, and determine workload for team members
  • Determine work procedures, prepare work schedules, and expedite workflow
  • Study and standardize procedures to improve the efficiency of our operators
  • Perform root cause analysis on systemic and physical transactional issues and work with the appropriate teams to find resolutions
  • Identify, develop, and implement process improvements to minimize process and inventory variances and reduce waste
  • Other responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
  • Conduct daily and weekly meetings with team members
  • Capable of performing all job duties of direct reports at a high level of proficiency
  • Directly responsible for non-exempt staff, and responsible for the performance of subordinates
  • Provide leadership to a manufacturing team and promote employee engagement

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Engineering or a quantitative field
  • 1-3 years of experience managing inventory in a Manufacturing or Distribution environment or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles, 5-S and KanBan is preferred

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate complex data clearly and concisely to executives
  • Experience translating data to actionable insights required
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Suite
  • ERP and WMS experience preferred
