Würth Wood Group is seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to lead our distribution operation at our branch in Tampa, FL.

Direct Reports to Warehouse Operations Manager: You will oversee 7 Warehouse Associates, titled "Operations Specialists" in house, 5 CDL Drivers, titled "Transportation Specialists" in house, (2 CDL-A and 3 CDL-B), and 2 Warehouse Operations Supervisors (1 per shift).

Reporting Structure for Warehouse Operations Manager:  The Warehouse Operations Manager will report to the General Manager and Regional Operations Manager. 

Location: 5102 W Hanna Ave, Tampa, FL 33634

Pre-Employment: Criminal Background Check + Drug Screen required – Note: We test for all forms of THC (no exceptions) – Testing positive for any form of THC will result in a failed drug screen preventing employment.  

Schedule: Monday through Friday.  The earliest start time would be 5:00am.  The latest you would ever need to be in the facility is 9:00pm, however the expectation is NOT to work that long of a day by any means.  Start time could vary depending on what needs to be completed for the day.  Our in-house CDL Drivers start between 4:30am and 5:00am.  Warehouse associates work two shifts:  7:00am to 4:00pm and 11:00am to 8:00pm.  

Permanent Role: This is a direct hire to Würth Wood Group without the use of any third parties/agencies.

Salary: $80k annual salary. Starting rate is not negotiable.

Hands-On Leadership Only: We need someone willing to get their hands dirty who will be actively involved on the front lines of the operation in every department from inbound, to outbound, and even our color lab where our tint specialist prepares paint and stain orders to customer specifications.

WMS/ERP: This branch utilizes SAP software and RF scanners for shipping/receiving/inventory functions.

Training Process for Warehouse Operations Manager:  On the job situationally-based training by (2) Regional Operations Managers and the (2) incumbent Warehouse Operations Supervisors. 

Requirements: minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse or distribution operations management, proven ability to lead and develop warehouse and CDL delivery personnel through hands-on leadership, strong background in full-spectrum inbound and outbound operations including receiving, checking in materials, stockkeeping, inventory management, picking/packing, palletizing, and shipping, demonstrated success in driving process improvements and operational efficiency, WMS and/or ERP system proficiency, experience developing and enforcing SOPs, knowledge of OSHA standards and compliance, ability to coordinate and schedule basic facility maintenance (electricians, HVAC, plumbing, landscaping, waste management), strong organizational and communication skills, hands-on experience with sit-down propane forklifts, ability to thrive in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.
