Wholesale Fireworks is a dynamic, high-volume distributor specializing in bringing joy, celebration, and spectacle to fireworks season. Our business is fast-paced and seasonal—think intense, high-energy peaks where precision and speed matter most, balanced by strategic planning and recovery periods that allow for work-life balance and innovation.

We’re seeking a results-driven, safety-focused Warehouse Distribution Manager to take full ownership of our warehouse and distribution hub. If you thrive in a thriving environment where your leadership directly impacts efficiency, team performance, and customer delight, this role offers the perfect mix of challenge, autonomy, and reward. You’ll use our Sage ERP system as your command center while building and guiding a team that keeps everything firing on all cylinders—literally and figuratively.

Key Responsibilities

You’ll be the driving force behind a clean, efficient, and scalable warehouse operation. Core duties include:

  • Team Leadership & Talent Management: Hire, train, develop, coach, and (when necessary) manage performance up to and including termination to maintain a high-performing, safety-conscious warehouse crew.

  • Order Fulfillment Excellence: Supervise order pulling, verification, packing, invoicing, and outbound shipping to ensure 100% accuracy and on-time delivery.
  • Equipment & Safety Leadership: Lead forklift training and certification programs, enforce rigorous safety protocols, and maintain full compliance with all regulatory standards.
  • Logistics & Driver Management: Coordinate and oversee truck drivers, route optimization, and daily logistics to keep product flowing smoothly from warehouse to customer.
  • Facility Excellence: Uphold a spotless, organized, and highly efficient warehouse environment through daily operations, continuous improvement initiatives, and proactive maintenance.
  • Process Optimization: Execute all standard warehouse duties while identifying and implementing efficiencies that support rapid scaling during seasonal surges.

This role is hands-on yet strategic—you’ll be in the warehouse daily during busy periods while also shaping long-term operational excellence.

What You Bring to the Spark (Qualifications)

We’re looking for a proven leader who can hit the ground running in a seasonal, fast-moving environment:

  • 5+ years of progressive warehouse or distribution management experience, ideally in a high-volume or seasonal industry.
  • Demonstrated success in hiring, developing, and leading teams, including performance management and conflict resolution.
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (Sage experience is a significant plus) and inventory management best practices.
  • Forklift certification (or the ability to become certified quickly) and prior experience training operators.
  • Deep understanding of warehouse safety standards (OSHA, DOT) and logistics coordination.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to stay calm and decisive under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours during peak fireworks season while enjoying more balanced scheduling in the off-season.
  • Passion for operational excellence and a positive, can-do attitude that motivates others.

Compensation & Perks

  • Competitive Salary: $80,000 – $100,000 annually, based on experience and proven track record.
  • Performance-based incentives tied directly to seasonal success and operational KPIs.
  • Comprehensive benefits package (health, dental, vision, retirement contributions—full details provided during interview).
  • Unique industry perks: Be part of a company that delivers unforgettable celebrations while enjoying the stability of a well-established wholesale operation.
  • Growth opportunities in a business where strong performance can lead to expanded responsibilities and leadership visibility.
