The Distribution Manager at Groundworks is responsible for overseeing the efficient and timely distribution of foundation repair materials, equipment, and products to support our field operations nationwide. To be a contributing member of the team, this role enables the organization to develop by optimizing logistics, inventory management, and distribution processes that ensure seamless supply chain operations. The Distribution Manager plays a key role in maintaining Groundworks' reputation for reliability, quality, and customer satisfaction by ensuring that our branches and job sites receive the right products at the right time.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of distribution center operations including receiving, storage, inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping.
  • Develop and implement distribution strategies that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support Groundworks' rapid growth and service excellence.
  • Coordinate logistics and transportation to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to Groundworks branches and job sites.
  • Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with procurement and manufacturing teams to maintain optimal stock availability.
  • Lead, train, and develop distribution center staff to foster a high-performance, safety-conscious team environment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards within the distribution operations.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technology tools to track inventory and streamline distribution workflows.
  • Analyze distribution metrics and KPIs to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, operations, and manufacturing to support customer demands and project schedules.
  • Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and transportation vendors.
  • Oversee maintenance of distribution equipment and facilities to ensure operational readiness.
  • Prepare reports and provide regular updates to senior leadership on distribution performance and challenges.
