Logistics Coordinator
NY 10019
Shift Timings: M-Th in office/ Fri WFH;10am - 6pm
Pay Rate: $22.00/hour - $24.00/hour
Description
  • As Logistics Coordinator, you will coordinate transportation, manufacturing, and materials to and from vendors. Your goal will be to ensure approved vendors have adequate material stock, and will be enforcing CSR policy with documentation, such as contracts and vendor compliance.
  • In addition, you will assist in managing transportation partners and support day-to-day inbound and outbound transportation. You will be involved in warehousing/distribution order processing, logistics, and ASN enforcement.
  • This team member will be responsible for interacting with many departments and customers each day and play a versatile role within the organization, as well as external warehousing partner relationships.
How you'll CREATE:
  • Develop and coordinate strategic and daily operational relationships with manufacturing vendors globally
  • Work closely with the Logistics Manager to ensure timely and accurate deliveries to and from our fulfillment centers
  • Support the Operations Team with shipment scheduling and tracking on Monday.Co
  • Purchasing new supplies and fostering relationships with vendors, as well as attempting to cut costs by leveraging bulk discounts
  • Schedule supply deliveries to Vendors to minimize slowdown in the production process
  • Proper inventory management of company supplies for vendors and tour department
  • Audit warehouse orders and inventory stock where necessary
  • Prepare and report on quality KPIs
  • Ensure vendor chargebacks are issued for non-compliance
  • Crosstrain across the operations team
  • Special projects as assigned
  • Schedule shipments for the tour team and track each shipment thoroughly
  • Gather logistics news, trends, industry updates and share with other departments

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business or Logistics preferred
  • Experience with order management and customer service
  • Strong computer skills including extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • High Level of attention to detail
