Job Description STRATEGIC STAFFING SOLUTIONS (S3) HAS AN OPENING. SAP Sales and Distribution Consultant Houston, TX (Onsite 4 days per week) W2 Contract Role; 12+ Months Core Skills SAP SD configuration, design, and development Order-to-cash process expertise (pricing, billing, shipping) Cross-module integration (MM, FI/CO, logistics) Business process analysis and optimization Functional testing, UAT, and cutover support Strong stakeholder communication and consulting skills S/4HANA SD implementation or migration experience Experience with complex pricing, contracts, or global sales processes SAP SD or S/4HANA certification Overview The Senior SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) Consultant provides advanced functional consulting support for SAP SD solutions, with deep expertise across order-to-cash processes, pricing, billing, and customer engagement workflows. This role operates as a senior delivery consultant who can independently drive complex requirements, guide solution design discussions, and provide informed input into architectural decisions.

The consultant partners closely with business stakeholders, SAP technical teams, and solution architects to deliver scalable, well-designed SD solutions aligned with enterprise standards and operational needs. Key Responsibilities Lead functional analysis, design, and configuration for SAP SD processes including order management, pricing, billing, shipping, and customer master data. Translate business requirements into high-quality functional designs, configuration decisions, and solution recommendations.

Provide expert input into solution and integration design discussions across MM, FI/CO, IM, and logistics execution. Support implementations, rollouts, and enhancements across ECC and/or S/4HANA SD environments. Drive functional testing strategy, support UAT, and assist with data migration and cutover activities.

Act as a senior escalation point for complex functional issues and production support. Review designs and configuration produced by other consultants; provide guidance and best-practice recommendations. Collaborate with architects and technical teams on integrations, enhancements, EDI, and reporting needs.

Support documentation, knowledge transfer, and continuous process improvement initiatives. Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or equivalent experience. 7-10+ years of SAP experience with strong specialization in SAP SD.

Proven experience delivering SAP SD solutions in large or complex enterprise environments. Hands-on experience with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA SD. Experience working alongside solution architects and influencing design decisions.
