We currently have an opening for a Distribution Center Supervisor in our Mendota Heights location. Responsibilities include:
  • Make customer service and customer satisfaction a high priority. Assist CSR's with elevated customer issues.
  • Administer order entry control and pricing policies consistent with company guidelines.
  • Hire, train and develop employees to work productively with high sense of urgency and positive customer service attitude.
  • Manage inventories to achieve high service level, planned inventory turns and minimize slow moving inventory.
  • Administer division price policy consistent with division guidelines
  • Manage expenses and operating ratios to perform at or better than budget.
  • Work closely with manufacturing plants to assure product availability is on time and complete.
  • Order product for Distribution Center from various sources.
  • Communicate with customers both in person and on the telephone, while executing superior customer service and communication skills.
  • Assist in pricing of quotes and orders under automation system controls.
  • This is a working supervisor position and requires working in the warehouse daily, lifting 50lbs frequently, bending, twisting and climbing.

Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred or combination of experience and education.
  • A minimum of 2 years supervisory experience, preferably in a Warehouse or Distribution Center setting.
  • Forklift experience/certification is required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a routine basis and 75 lbs. occasionally. Ability to stand, bend, twist and climb frequently.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
