Job Description:

TTI Consumer Power Tools, Inc., has an opening in its Anderson, SC location for a Distribution Administrator - 1st shift who will be responsible for maintaining material handling equipment and supplies needed to maintain warehouse operations, and also provide administrative support for the logistics management team.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Follow up with carriers via email and/or phone
  • Establish pickup appointments for carriers
  • Maintain schedule for shipments
  • Maintain open communications with the supply chain team, customer service, and customers
  • Handle data via SAP and manipulate data within MS Excel
  • Assist with creating bills of lading
  • Track shipments when necessary
  • Build orders with SAP for shipment
  • Maintain friendly customer relations.
  • Maintain open communications with Shipping Supervisors to maximize shipments and minimize problems. Manage orders based on production capacities to determine shipping abilities and schedule trucking companies to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain open communications with Shipping Supervisors, Customer Service, and the Transportation Manager to resolve any issues with shipments.
  • Coordinate with distribution management to determine load-out schedules based on customers' requests.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in administrative or distribution capacity
  • Working Knowledge of SAP

Physical Requirements

  • Extended periods of looking at a computer screen
  • Repeated motions of hands and fingers
  • Extended periods of sitting
  • Periodic walking of the facility
