AS400 RPGILE Programming Consultant

<>POSITION SUMMARY:

The right candidate for this position will assist our client s Distribution Center Director with day-to-day operations and improvements such as new projects, features and functions will be planned and implemented to enhance the efficiency and productivity of the distribution center.

<>QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS <>Analytical Skills
  • Prepare analysis and business design documents, listening to users to understand their needs
  • Familiarity with wholesale, eCommerce, and brick-and-mortar retail stores warehousing functions a plus
<>Technical Skills
  • Create technical design documents
  • Minimum 5 years experience with RPG, RPGLE, APTEAN/RLM, SQL and Manhattan Associates WMi on iSeries
  • Prepare and execute test plans, including set up of test environment Software Skills
  • Experience with Manhattan Associates WMi platform (building interfaces with ERP software)
  • Experience implementing and maintaining new processes and procedures in the Distribution Center
  • Experience implementing and maintaining software bridges between WMi and other packages; experience with APTEAN/RLM is a must and experience with Inovis is a plus
  • Familiar with interfacing new warehouse technology through WMi, working with 3rd party vendors
