Job description

Ready to grow your career? Empire Today is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our hardworking, Distribution Center team. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for completing daily, assigned warehouse tasks in a safe and efficient manner.

Compensation Information:
$21.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • Daily warehouse work activities, including (but not limited to):
    • Daily pre- and post-loadout preparation and activities.
    • Receive/unload shipments and verify for accuracy.
    • Cycle counts.
    • Picking/cutting/staging goods as needed.
    • Daily building cleanup and maintenance.
  • Regular warehouse audits to ensure safety and cleanliness of all parts of the warehouse.
  • Safely operate forklift and/or other warehouse machinery (requires certification).
  • Perform and document machinery safety checks.
  • Inventory counts.
  • Proper completion of payroll activities.
  • Successful and timely completion of all required training.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous warehouse experience preferred.
  • Forklift operating experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems preferred.
  • Ability to lift or push 50-75lbs as required.
  • Commitment to customer service and maintaining an excellent attendance record.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
