PerfettiVanMelle (makers of Mentos, Airheads, Dentyne, Trident and Bubblicious!) is one of the world's largest manufacturers and distributors of confectionery and chewing gum with global brands that are being enjoyed in more than 150 countries worldwide. We're currently seeking passionate and enthusiastic Distribution Center Associates to join our growing team.

Starting Pay: $22.50

Hours: 6:00pm-6:30am

12 Hour Continental - Rotating schedule for entire year - Work HALF the YEAR!

WHAT YOU WILL DO

As a key member of our Distribution Center Team, Distribution Center Associates are responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving, processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock, quarterly inventories of the DC, loading FTL,LTL and Parcel order and other duties assigned. You will work with the Warehouse management system via computers, RF guns, and voice headsets.  You will also operate power industrial equipment and may require use of specialized equipment like a pallet flipper. 

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Warehouse Practices
    Ability to lift 50 pounds routinely
    Forklift experience required
    Ability to stand, use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. 
    Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize daily activities and on-going projects.
    Flexibility and able to manage change with a positive attitude
    Time management skills to stay on track with fulfilling orders 
    Strong Judgment and Decision Making skills, ability to choose appropriate action for the situation
    Critical Thinking skills and ability to identify strengths and weaknesses and alternative solutions 
    Ability to work well with others in a team-oriented environment.
    Effective communication skills 
    Ability to work overtime
    Ability to subtract, add, multiply and divide in all units of measure
    Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
    Ability to write simple correspondence.
    Ability to clearly articulate process problems or troubleshooting issues
